What Benedict Morelli Does
Benedict Morelli represents clients at trials both in civil and criminal cases. Morelli has won millions of dollars worth in lawsuits and has become one of New York's most accomplished attorneys. He's gone head to head against some of the top investment banks, big corporations, and other billion-dollar companies in these cases. Morelli has made quite a name for himself with the cases he's won and has appeared on TV networks like "Court TV," NBC's "The Today Show," "The View," and many others. Benedict Morelli's History
Benedict Morelli got his bachelor's at City College before attending New York Law School where he got his law degree. He clerked for a personal injury attorney group before being admitted to the New York State Bar, and later became a partner and senior partner at that law firm. After that law firm dissolved, he formed Benedict P. Morelli & Associates, later becoming Morelli Law Firm in 1998. Some of the cases he has won during his law career have made national headlines.
Notable Cases Morelli Has Won
One of his first big cases he won in court was a $40 million lawsuit, a case that put Morelli on the front page of the National Law Journal in 1995. In 2010, his firm represented a client in a polio vaccine case that they won, and is still to this day the largest vaccine verdict known. He also won injury cases in which the plaintiff had been injured from tripping over a door step, clients who've broken limbs at the workplace, and bad pharmaceuticals that have caused painful side effects. Since 1997, he's been in the top rankings of Best Lawyers in America.
